The Stepfold Podiums manufactured by Euro Towers are an ideal and safe solution for working at low levels for longer periods of time. At current this podium step is the only certified product that is both built and tested to BS8620. Using a specially designed telescopic guardrail frame, the user is able to access the step platforms to gain easy access to and from the working platform. Stabilisers are provided for extra stability. The unit also has a folding mechanism that allows it to fold flat, great for transportation and storage. The Stepfold Podium can be ordered with either 4 Base Plates, 4 Castors or a combination of 2 Castors and 2 Base Plates. Another feature on the Stepfold Podiums are its self closing saloon type gate for extra protection.
The Stepfold Podium are also now certified to BS 8620. This classification replaces PAS250 and when buying new podiums it is recommended to purchase to the new standard. BS 8620 includes dimensional changes to side protection and has enhanced testing.
